It had been previously reported that Season 3 of Titans will be released on HBO Max some time in August. The exact date of release has now been revealed.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the new season will premiere on Aug. 12 and will feature a new supervillain who will go head to head with the eponymous team of superheroes.

Season 3 of Titans will introduce Blackfire, Barbara Gordon, Tim Drake and the supervillain Scarecrow, played by Vincent Kartheiser. Curran Walters' Jason Todd will, additionally, undergo a major change, as he abandons the role of Robin and becomes the antihero known as the Red Hood.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth, Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan, Curran Walters as Jason Todd, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Vincent Kartheiser as Jonathan Crane, Damaris Lewis as Blackfire, Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon and Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake. Season 3 premieres in Aug. 12 on HBO Max.
