More and more photos from the scrapped original Season 1 finale to Titans have started to surface online, with the latest set revealing the return of the Doom Patrol.

Geeks Worldwide and Omega Underground senior editor Thomas Polito shared two stills from the original Season 1 finale featuring the team standing alongside Negative Man, Elasti-Woman and Robotman. Another photo shows Negative Man with Starfire in a dimly lit room as Larry Trainor poses dramatically.

Earlier reports revealed the Doom Patrol was slated to arrive through a portal created by Negative Man to assist the Titans against Trigon in the finale. The eccentric team's entrance would help address the discrepancy between the Doom Patrol that appeared earlier in Season 1 and the one that stars in its own DC Universe original series. Instead, the finale was refilmed to feature Dick Grayson trapped in a nightmare world created by Trigon, with two planned episodes scrapped completely, including the Doom Patrol's return.

However, with both Titans and Doom Patrol having been renewed for new seasons on DC Universe, a potential team-up could still be in the cards.
