Batman has Robin. Superman has Superboy. The Flash has Kid Flash. And Wonder Woman has Wonder Girl. Simply put, many of the adult characters of the DC pantheon of superheroes have teenage sidekicks, characters who have been associated with the Teen Titans super-team on many occasions.

On DC Universe's Titans live-action series, we have seen Dick Grayson put together a team of teen superheroes -- a team comprised of Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy. And now, another one of the fan-favorite team members, Donna Troy, will be added to the mix.

DC has released photos from next week's new episode of Titans, featuring a first look at actress Conor Leslie (The Man in the High Castle) as Donna Troy. The selection of photos only feature Donna in her civilian garb, which makes it difficult to say if she will have her comic book costume when she is first introduced on the series. Furthermore, we don't yet know if this version of Donna will have any connections to Wonder Woman.

Donna Troy first appeared in 1965's The Brave and the Bold #60 by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, where she first fought alongside Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad. Since her creation, she has been widely recognized as one of the main members of the Teen Titans, and later the Titans.

While the Titans series has focused on the core foursome of Robin, Raven, Beast Boy and Starfire, there have been many other DC superheroes who have appeared on the show. So far, we have seen the crime-fighthing duo of Hawk and Dove, the second Robin Jason Todd and even the quirky super-team known as the Doom Patrol (who are bound to receive their very own spinoff series soon). As of yet, it's unclear if Donna Troy will appear in a similar guest manner, or if she will become an official member of the team.

The new episode of Titans, which is aptly titled "Donna Troy," will be released on the DC Universe streaming service Friday, Nov. 30.

Now streaming on DC Universe, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, and Ryan Potter as Beast Boy.
