Lindsey Gort (The Carrie Diaries) is joining DC Entertainment's Titans live-action series as Dick Grayson's new partner, Police Detective Amy Rohrbach. Brenton Thwaites was previously cast as Batman’s former sidekick, Robin, who will lead the titular DC Comics-based superteam on the company's official digital streaming service.

The TV series' Titans are described as “a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.” More recent castings include Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly as the heroic duo of Hawk and Dove, respectively.

A live-action Titans series had been in development at TNT before being shelved by the cable channel in 2014. However, Johns pledged in early 2015 that DC still had plans for the project; the series went into production in July.

Titans is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl). The series will air on Warner Bros.’ new DC Comics-branded digital platform that will launch in 2018. No official release date has been announced.
