DC Universe's Titans reportedly further expand its cast in Season 2 with the addition of Mercy Graves, the formidable bodyguard of iconic villain Lex Luthor.

According to Deadline, Doctor Who and Jekyll and Hyde actress Natalie Gumede will play the role, described by the streaming service as "the ruthless, cunning, right hand and bodyguard to the notorious Lex Luthor – serving her boss with unquestioned loyalty. Her connection to the Luthors runs deep, as Mercy has been a friend of the family and in Lex’s life since they were young.”

Introduced in 1996 on Superman: The Animated Series, Mercy was the former leader of a female gang of thieves who became Lex Luthor's personal bodyguard and chauffeur after she stole his briefcase. She's a highly trained hand-to-hand combatant who's trusted with Lex's personal security, and with carrying out his dirty work.
