The fear-obsessed DC character was created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane, debuting in 1941's World's Finest Comics #3. Crane goes by many names, including the Master of Fear, and is an ex-psychology professor who has turned into a villain fixated on experimenting with and on the fears of Gotham City's residents by any means possible, including toxins. Known as a primary enemy of Batman, the sadistic villain has appeared in a variety of villainous DC teams, including Legion of Doom and the Injustice League.

Titans star Alan Ritchson teased recently that the show's upcoming third season will be the show's best, noting, "All of the seasons have been good, but there’s an excellence to this because everybody has figured out what we wanna focus on and who we wanna tell the story through. It’s just a little more focused than it has been, and it’s working really well. It’s the best season yet, by far."
