Brenton Thwaites, who portrays Dick Grayson/Nightwing in DC Universe's Titans, gave a quick update about Season 3 in a recent interview.

While speaking with Rotten Tomatoes, Thwaites was asked about the progress of Season 3, to which he responded, "I've received a few scripts, so they've written a little bit and I think they are just waiting to see, yeah, waiting to see if we can shoot." Thwaites went on to mention that several of the actors, including himself, live outside of the United States, so they would need to be able to bring everyone together before shooting.

Titans Season 3 is just one of the many projects experiencing a halt in production due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, there is no official word on when filming will begin for the third season.

Based on DC's Teen Titans series, Season 1 of Titans featured an origin story for the team, which included Dick Grayson/Robin, Kory Anders/Starfire, Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, Rachel Roth/Raven and several others. The TV series finished its second season, which saw Grayson move away from the Robin persona, in November 2019, and the third season announced that same month. While an official storyline for Titans Season 3 hasn't been revealed, the season will introduce popular DC character Barbara Gordan to the series.
