Tim Kring Gets Supernatural With 'Beyond'

After exploring the world of fantasy and superheroes with "Heroes" and "Heroes Reborn," creator Tim Kring will explore the genre next door with the new supernatural series "Beyond" for ABC.

As reported by Variety, stars Burkely Duffield as Holden, who wakes up from a coma after 12 years to discover he may have supernatural powers. Although physically an adult, Holden remains emotionally a teenager, having never grown up thanks to the coma.

Adam Nussdorf of "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" created the series with Kring executive producing along with Zak Kadison, Justin Levy and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones.

Along with "Beyond," ABC Family also greenlit an Amanda Know-style murder-mystery series from "The Game Plan's" Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard. "Guilt" stars Daisy Head as Grace, who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her roommate while aboard in London.
