Tim Allen recently revealed that he dropped the "F-bomb" on a kid while filming The Santa Clause 2.

The actor and comedian reflected on the incident during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, noting, "I'm not really a big fan of children. I have them. I like mine, kind of. I don't like other people's children. And when we did Santa Clause, it was like cats, they wouldn't leave me alone."

Allen went on to explain that he lost his temper in front of a bunch of child actors when they were filming a scene that required everyone on set to be quiet. "I mean, I'm dressed like Santa Claus. I looked like -- we had a North Pole set -- we used real children, and in one scene in a submarine, we're looking, we're waiting for the North Pole and the Air Force is flying over the North Pole," Allen recalled about the scene. "They had a sonar beacon. I said, 'Everybody gotta be quiet'... and these two kids were fighting in the back."

Allen was already tired of being in his Santa costume and admitted he was both angry and sweaty, feelings that were only amplified when they had to run the scene 15 times. "The kid said one more word, and I let out the loudest F-bomb," Allen revealed. "And I turned around and there are 12 children, [who] looked like that you had ripped their legs off. Their Santa had just screamed the F-bomb."

Representatives for Disney were quick to jump on set and try to calm down both the children and parents by suggesting that Allen hadn't said the "F-word," but a similar-sounding Swedish word that meant "holiday trim." However, Allen noted, "[The] kids didn't buy it. Nobody bought it."

"I never did that again," the actor confirmed. "I realized I shocked these poor kids. And it's tough on a pirate." When Clarkson jokingly compared the actor's potty mouth to Bad Santa, Allen responded, "Well, they've done a whole bunch of Bad Santas, actually, but my character in [The Santa Clause 2] was a kind, wonderful Santa... and I'm anything but that."

Directed by Michael Lembeck, The Santa Clause 2 stars Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, Aisha Tyler, David Krumholtz, Eric Lloyd, Judge Reinhold, Spencer Breslin, Liliana Mumy and Kevin Pollak. All three films in The Santa Clause franchise are available to stream now on Disney+.
