Tim Allen Protects His Manhood In New Sitcom

Tim Allen is headed back to television, with a new sitcom written and produced by a 30Rock veteran. Is this the return to Home Improvement greatness that we've always dreamed of?

The new show will be called Man Up, and continues ABC's assault on the world of family sitcoms: Produced and pilot-written by Jack Burditt, it's about Allen's character, a man who finds his manliness under attack in a household of women. So far, so traditional, but it'll be interesting to see what Burditt and Allen do with what sounds like a cliched idea - as long as someone can promise that we're not looking at Wild Hogs the TV series.
