WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Thor #7, by Donny Cates, Aaron Kuder, Matt Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino, on sale now.

The latest issue of Thor may have featured a nod to the '80s comedy Adventures in Babysitting, and Vincent D'Onofrio addressed it on Twitter. D'Onofrio responded to a tweet from writer Donny Cates, who in turn responded to a fan that asked if mechanic Adam Aziz was a reference to D'Onfrio's character in the movie.

"That I really can't answer completely. However in hindsight it may be although it was not intended at the time," D'Onofrio wrote. "It could be no just by where Thor canon has unfolded in up to now 2020."

In Adventures in Babysitting, D'Onofrio portrays the mechanic Dawson. The character bears long blond hair and wields a sledgehammer, which leads one of the children to believe he is Thor. D'Onofrio would eventually portray another Marvel character, as he took up the role of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the Daredevil series for Netflix.

In Thor #7, readers are introduced to Aziz, who works in the town of Broxton where Thor once made his home. After being shaken to his core by a vision of Thanos killing him, Thor flings his hammer into the middle of Broxton. Aziz ends up lifting it and becoming empowered with the God of Thunder's abilities.
