Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Dark Knight Rises: September 12th Comic Reel

Things are really ramping up on the set of "Thor: The Dark World." Splash News has posted a video of behind-the-scenes footage of the upcoming Marvel Phase Two film featuring Chris Hemsworth and Jamie Alexander rocking out with weapons during a fight on a field.

Moreover, The Daily Mail has posted a few still shots of Hemsworth and Alexander in action. It definitely seems as though Alexander's Sif will have a larger role in this installment.

Last month, there were rumors that a director's cut of Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" would see the light of day, but The Playlist reports otherwise, quoting insiders close to the director saying no such plans exist. Unfortunately, fans will likely continue to imagine what the origins for Tom Hardy's Bane would look like on camera.

Now in theaters

Tom Hiddleston spoke with SFX about his role as Loki in "The Avengers" and working with director Joss Whedon.

"What impressed me the most about Joss initially was the incredible screenplay we had to work with on 'Marvel's The Avengers,'" Hiddleston told SFX. "Directing this film was a feat in itself, but his screenplay was phenomenal. I'm sure none of us really knew what to expect, but I take my hat off to Joss for that. He was incredibly open and that's what you want as an actor: you want to collaborate. Everyone has a certain level of ownership of their character and Joss was very respectful of that possession. He would constantly ask us, 'Does this feel right for your character? Does this feel true to you? Is this in your voice?'"

Releases on DVD/Blu-ray September 25

Chris Evans spoke with Tribute.ca at the Toronto International Film Festival and the actor spoke about getting back into preparation to play Captain America for "The Winter Soldier." Thanks to Comic Book Movie for the transcription.

"I'm dreading [the physical transformation], this is what I keep thinking," Evans told Tribute.ca. "We start 'Cap 2' in March so come January I have to get back into that routine. All I'm thinking about is the future movies, like 'god, how am I going to keep getting big', it's such a chore. I hate to admit it, but it's not easy." [Laughs] "It's months and months of lifting heavy stuff and -- not looking forward to it. But, it's worth it because I am happy with the movies and I do love the character so come January, my life is going to be different. It's such a commitment, top-to-bottom, its not just lifting, sleep is important, your diet is important. It's a complete commitment but what am I saying, it's good problems to have."

John Cho spoke with IGN about his role as Sulu in J.J. Abrams' upcoming "Star Trek" sequel, "Star Trek Into Darkness."

"It was embarrassingly familiar!" Cho told IGN about his return to set. "We immediately started up with the same jokes that we run into ground. But that's the kind of experience that's so unique. The people you go on that journey with, you're bonded with forever. It's very special to come back to something like that. I think we got closer than we did on the first one even because we had that thing going. It was a lot of fun. I think the second one may be magnificent, baby. You can quote me on that. I think it may be amazing."
