Thor: The Dark World, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Arrow: October 4th Comic Reel


Two new TV spots for "Thor: The Dark World" have surfaced online, courtesy of Comic Book Movie. For the most part, it's nothing that hasn't already been seen, but there are one or two new pieces of footage in both.

Meanwhile, a new character poster featuring Ray Stevenson as Volstaag and one of Zachary Levi as Fandral (Courtesy Comic Book Movie).

ABC.com has debuted two new clips from the next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." featuring Skye training for a mission and a TV promo for her first mission ever.

Plus, Marvel.com has posted the official synopsis of the show's fifth episode, "Girl in the Flower Dress."

"Girl in the Flower Dress" - An elusive girl in a flower dress may hold the key to the mystery that brings Coulson and team to Asia to rescue a young man with an unusual and dangerous power; and Skye has a secret that jeopardizes her relationship with the team right when they need her most.

Green Arrow TV has posted promotional images for the third episode of the upcoming season of "Arrow", "Broken Dolls," which features the first appearance of Bex Taylor-Klaus as Sin.

Second season debuts October 9 on the CW


It was announced yesterday that Fox has picked up the movie rights to Image Comics series "Who is Jake Ellis?" and has tapped "Harry Potter" director David Yates to helm the picture. The original comic (and its sequel, "Where is Jake Ellis?") was written by Nathan Edmondson with art by Tonci Zonjic, and centered around Jon Moore -- a man whose ghostly companion Jake Ellis assists him in becoming the best criminal in the world. When a job goes horribly wrong, Moore must go back to the facility where he was once held to uncover the truth about his imprisonment.


"Criminal" got a director in Kim Jee-Woon recently, and creator Ed Brubaker spoke with MTV about the decision to bring the acclaimed director onboard.

"My first reaction was shock because I love his work," Brubaker told MTV. "When [producers] Jamie [Patricof] and Lynette [Howell] sent me a short list of directors and I saw his name on it, I had to double-check he was really interested. Anyone who saw 'A Bittersweet Life' will know exactly why he's right for this movie."


Marvel Television has released a new clip of "Ultimate Spider-Man's" Halloween episode featuring the Howling Commandos.

Guillermo del Toro is the man responsible for this year's epic "Treehouse of Horror" gag on "The Simpsons." The gag is nearly three minutes long, lampooning a number of horror films and genres, including Hellboy and Blade.
