Even as the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers strive for victory in Super Bowl XLV, once again the commercials make a major part of the Big Game's attraction-and Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures have scored big, released a new trailer for "Thor," director Kenneth Branagh's eagerly anticipated adaptation of the classic comic character.

The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as the Norse god of thunder, exiled to Midgard-Earth-as punishment for reigniting an ancient war. But when the most dangerous villain from his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth, the hammer-wielding Thor discovers what it takes to be a true hero.

"Thor," which will be released in 3-D on May 6th, 2011, features a sprawling cast that includes Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Colm Feore as the king of the Frost Giants, Joshua Dallas as Fandral, Tadanobu Asano as Hogun, Ray Stevenson as Volstagg, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Rene Russo as Frigga and Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson.
