When you roll with Team Thor, you must never let your gourd down, even during your lunch break. In a post on his Instagram, "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi posted an affectionate look at his Gourd of Thunder sitting at the dinner table.

The photo shows a pensive Thor (Chris Hemsworth) enjoying a meal while surrounded by a pile of pumpkins and gourds. Mjölnir, the mythological hammer bound to the God of Thunder, also puts in an appearance, with its own a high chair, plastic bowl and spoon.

At first glance, the snapshot appears to be a behind-the-scenes moment from the filming of "Thor: Ragnarok," but the movie wrapped filming at the end of last year. Upon further inspection, then, this post could be subtle promotion for the upcoming video and digital release of "Dr. Strange," which will feature a new "Team Thor" short with Dale Pearson's Darryl Jacobsen.

During this summer's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel finally revealed what Thor (and, for a brief moment, Bruce Banner) were up to during the events of "Captain America: Civil War." The short, titled "Team Thor" and directed by Waititi, followed the Asgardian as he took some "me time" in Australia. He even found a roommate, an office worker who seemed a bit unsure of his new renter. That would be Darryl Jacobsen, who also happens to be the person listed as photographer on Waititi's social media post.

Since a follow-up to their adventures has been confirmed for the "Doctor Strange" Blu-ray, the photo above could very well be from this sequel, as suggested by Thor's tender loving care of his trusty hammer. In the first short, Mjölnir had a tiny bed and playful pictures, and now the hammer seems to be enjoying a bowl of smashed vegetables as any toddler (or tool) is wont to do.

The photo leaves a lot more questions to be answered. For instance, what -- if any -- of the items on the table could play into the third film of the Thor franchise? And is that Jarnbjorn, the ax Thor wielded before he had Mjölnir, casually leaning against the table?

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo, “Thor: Ragnarok” opens Nov. 3, 2017.
