Thor: Ragnarok: Surtur’s Dragon Teased in Disneyland Ride Promo

When the fire giant Surtur goes up against Marvel's god of thunder in Thor: Ragnarok, he'll apparently have some backup in the form of an enormous fire dragon. The massive beast was revealed in artwork for Disneyland's Halloween Time expansion of Guardians of the Galaxy -- Mission: BREAKOUT! ride.

The image shows the dragon charging toward a startled Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot. Although the two Guardians are the shortest of their teammates, you can still gauge the massive size of the dragon.

Guardians of the Galaxy -- Monsters After Dark will follow the ending of the Mission: BREAKOUT! ride, in which Rocket liberates his teammates from the clutches of the Collector. Unfortunately, Rocket’s friend Groot is left behind at the adventure’s conclusion. It wasn’t just the Guardians of the Galaxy who were freed, though: The entirety of the Collector’s Vault is running wild.
