"Thor: Ragnarok" Set Photo Teases A Strange Encounter

A new set photo from "Thor: Ragnarok" teases that the God of Thunder might be taking a trip to New York City's Greenwich Village. As spotted by Marvel Cinematic Universe Facebook fan page, a new photo shows Chris Hemsworth's Avenger holding a tiny piece of paper with an address written on it in cursive: 177A Bleecker St. That address belongs to Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum.

And further validating the photo, "Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi retweeted the set pic -- although that version didn't zoom in and highlight the slip of paper like the Facebook fan page did.

Does this mean that Thor will meet Doctor Strange in "Thor: Ragnaarok"? Will he merely be tipped off to the good doctor's existence? Or could this be part of a mid-credits or post-credits scene? There's also still the possibility that this is a fan edit and Waititi retweeted it without noticing that tiny address. But if it's not a fan edit, this implies that Thor and Strange are headed for a meeting.

Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum and more, "Thor: Ragnarok" arrives in theaters on November 3, 2017.
