Film magazine Empire has just revealed that subscribers will be getting an extra-special treat when issue #140 bursts into their mailboxes later this month, in the form of an exclusive subscriber-only cover by current Mighty Thor comic book artist Russell Dauterman.

The black-and-white cover depicts Chris Hemsworth's Thor facing off against the villainous Hela (Cate Blanchett). The art is much enlivened by the use of some vivid red on both the Thunder God's cloak and the magazine's masthead. The death goddess Hela, seen in the Thor: Ragnarok trailer destroying the Asgardian's hammer Mjolnir, looks especially fierce and is clearly not an entity to be underestimated.
