Could Jamie Alexander be a hidden surprise in Thor: Ragnarok? The promo for this Sunday's Talking with Chris Hardwick would certainly lead one to believe so, as it lists Alexander as one of the castmembers of the upcoming intergalactic Marvel Studios sequel.

However, despite what the commercial states, the official description of the show's episode doesn't describe Alexander's involvement with the film. Instead, it states she'll be talking about "the physical demands" of the NBC show she's currently starring on, Blindspot, as well as what life was like for her before the Thor films.

It'll be interesting to watch this episode to see what, if any information Alexander gives away if she is indeed appearing in Thor: Ragnarok. With Natalie Portman's Jane apparently out of the picture for good, could this be the grand opportunity for Sif to make her move on Thor, kindling some of the history the pair have in the Marvel Comics source material? Or will she and Valkyrie [Tessa Thompson] form a two-woman tag team in order to take down the MCU's first female villain, Hela [Cate Blanchett]?

Talking with Chris Hardwick airs Sundays at 11/10c on AMC.

Opening Nov. 3, director Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/the Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
