Newly released concept art for Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok offers a decidedly different look at Mark Ruffalo's Incredible Hulk.RELATED: Thor: Ragnarok Concept Art Reveals Alternate Valkyrie LookConcept artist Ryan Meinerding revealed four headshots of the Jade Giant, including one in which he sports long, shaggy hair and a bull beard and mustache.

After leaving Earth in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Hulk ended up on the distant planet Sakaar, where he became the gladiatorial champion of the Grandmaster, as seen in Thor: Ragnarok. While the character's appearance was never going to deviate much from his traditional look, this concept art reveals his haircut was apparently up for debate. Meinerding gave him hair similar to what we saw in the Avengers film, but he also played around with buzzed sides.

Perhaps the version that stands out the most is the Hulk with long hair and a beard. This would have matched well with his status as an exiled superhero. It would have been a good juxtaposition with Thor's new short haircut.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
