Thor: Ragnarok's Goddess of Death almost looked a little different. On Twitter, Andy Park shared some of his early concept art for Hela, which shows a more covered look on the character.

In Park's early version of Hela's design, the Asgardian queen wears dramatic shoulder pads that match the pointy, Jack Kirby-inspired look of her full costume. The movie, however, lets Hela bare her shoulders. The concept art also shows a smaller helmet, as opposed to the wider one she dons in the film whenever she's in a killing mood. Additionally, her cape is in tatters in the picture below, where she wears a full one in the film. The costume appears to have inverted colors as well, with a green base as opposed to a black one.

"I had too much fun coming up with her design!" Park shared on his post. He also revealed that this particular design "as one of my 1st passes at Hela during the concept phase," which means he has several other Hela designs as well.

In theaters now, Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
