Hela Destroys Mjolnir, Thor Embarrasses Loki in Ragnarok Scenes

Cate Blanchett's Hela destroys the hammer Mjolnir, and Tom Hiddleston's Loki is put in an uncomfortable spot in scenes from Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok.

Although Thor: Ragnarok is mere weeks away, boisterous advance praise and an enticing ad campaign aren't exactly making the wait any easier. Luckily, a new compilation of scenes is available for impatient fans that highlights the film's heroes, humor and Hela herself.

The first scene showcases Cate Blanchett's confident goddess of death as she commands Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Tom Hiddleston's Loki to "Bow before your queen." In a sequence repeatedly depicted, in a couple of forms, in the film's marketing, Hela plucks Mjolnir out of midair and shatters the enchanted hammer, depriving the thunder god of his signature weapon.

It's followed in the video compilation by the previously released scene introducing director Taika Waititi as Korg, and then by the reunion of Thor and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk in the Grandmaster's arena, where Loki is placed on the spot in front of cheering fans of the Green Goliath.

Arriving Nov. 3, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
