A new featurette for Thor: Ragnarok makes it clear that the film's wicked sense of humor stemmed in large part from director Taika Waititi. The featurette, which includes highlights from the upcoming gag reel, offers some insight into the method behind Waititi's madness.

"It's been like that the whole time, kind of just cracking up on set," shared Chris Hemsworth. "It's definitely the most lighthearted, fun set I've been on."

"A day on the set working with Taika involves hijinx, dancing," Valkyrie actor Tessa Thompson recalled. "Yeah, he's just a big kid."

The featurette also includes a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Sakaar, with a special tour led by Waititi himself. This tour puts his sense of humor fully on display. Throughout the video, bits of outtakes -- with a particular focus on Waititi -- are shown. However, that doesn't stop the rest of the cast from getting their groove on too.

Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. The film will be available on Digital HD on February 20, before being released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 6.
