When it was revealed that the Incredible Hulk would play a significant role in "Thor: Ragnarok," many fans hoped it might lead to an epic showdown with Marvel's god of thunder. Now star Chris Hemsworth has stoked those flames of anticipation with a new video that purportedly depicts the actor preparing for a confrontation with the Green Goliath.

The video, shared on Hemsworth's Instagram account, shows the actor clad in a black hoodie, shorts and boxing gloves, and unleashing a series of blows on a punching bag. The accompanying text reads, "Getting ready to fight the Hulk."
There were rumors that Thor sports buzzed haircut for portions of "Ragnarok," but the hoodie obscures our view of Hemsworth's head. Regardless, the actor seems to be ready to take on all comers, be they of Asgardian or gamma-irradiated in origin.
