While Chris Hemsworth has been synonymous with the role of Thor, recently released concept art by Marvel Studios Visual Development Head Charlie Wen revealed that Trainspotting's Kevin McKidd would've also looked good as the God of Thunder.

Shared on Wen's official Instagram page, the concept art featured a version Thor that was based on McKidd. Wen mentioned that the design was made before preproduction began on 2011's Thor and added, "I was trying out different actors to base Thor on since Chris Hemsworth didn’t have the role yet at the time."
