An apparent behind-the-scenes photo from Thor: Love and Thunder features star Chris Hemsworth alongside fellow actor Matt Damon, as well as director Taika Waititi.

The photo in question was shared to Hemsworth's Instagram page, and sees the founding Avengers cast member flanked by Damon and Waititi, the latter of whom is resting his arm on Hemsworth's shoulder and staring intently at the camera. Hemsworth's caption reads, "Album drops next week. #GetReadyWorld."

In Love and Thunder, Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor Odinson, whom he previously played in Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange (an uncredited cameo), Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Damon, meanwhile, reprises his role as an Asgardian actor from 2017's Ragnarok, which was also directed by Waititi.

In Ragnarok, Luke Hemsworth (Chris' brother) and Damon cameoed as a pair of stage performers playing Thor and Loki, respectively, in a reenactment of The Dark World's ending. These versions of "Thor" and "Loki" will return in Love and Thunder, evidently to reenact the events of Ragnarok. Moreover, Hemsworth and Damon will be joined by Melissa McCarthy, who has been tapped to portray an actor playing Hela.
