Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), aka The Mighty Thor, will almost certainly be wielding a reforged version of Mjölnir in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Thor: Love and Thunder.

Marvel Entertainment revealed a slew of Love and Thunder tie-in toys on its official website, including the "Mighty FX Mjölnir." The electronic hammer features numerous "cracks," implying that it has been put back together following its destruction at the hands of the Goddess of Death. Jane Foster is seen wielding Mjölnir on the box art, with blue energy emanating from said cracks.

Of course, the original Mjölnir wielded by Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth) throughout much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was destroyed by Hela (Cate Blanchett) in director Taika Waititi's 2017 Marvel Studios film Thor: Ragnarok. Thor later obtained a new weapon in the form of Stormbreaker, which was forged by Eitri (Peter Dinklage) in Anthony and Joe Russo's 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War.

In the Russo Brothers' 2019 film Avengers: Endgame, Thor went back in time to retrieve Mjölnir long before it was destroyed, with Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) proving his worth and wielding the legendary hammer before all was said and done. At the end of the film, however, Cap returned this version of Mjölnir to its proper timeline.

Fortunately, it seems as though Thor and company had the foresight to pick up the pieces of the original Mjölnir. After all, with Jane Foster set to become the new God of Thunder in Waititi's Love and Thunder, it's safe to say some repairs are in order. Previous promotional material for Love and Thunder -- including an officially licensed poster -- implied that Jane would be wielding a reforged version of the original Mjölnir, though this is our best look at it so far. Meanwhile, Thor Odinson appears to be sticking with Stormbreaker.

Furthermore, Marvel essentially confirming that Thor's hammer will be repaired in Love and Thunder coincides with a recent podcast appearance by Peter Dinklage, in which the actor implied that he would indeed be reprising his role as Eitri in the fourth Thor film. "Well, there's another Thor movie there, isn't there? Coming out that Taika's directed," Dinklage told Empire. "But, I didn't say anything. I didn't say anything."
