A new trailer for Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder has arrived.

Following last month's teaser trailer, Marvel Studios dropped the official, full-length trailer for its latest Thor film during Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. In addition to featuring more clips showing Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) as the Mighty Thor, the trailer also reveals the first proper look at the villainous Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who bluntly proclaims: "All gods will die."

The fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Thor series and the second to be directed by Taika Waititi (following 2017's Thor: Ragnarok), Love and Thunder is slated for release on Friday, July 8. The superhero flick picks up after the events of 2019's Avengers: Endgame, with the God of Thunder, Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth), vowing to leave violence in his past and live a life of peace following a period of time traveling with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Love and Thunder will heavily focus on Thor's one-time romantic partner Jane Foster as she becomes the new wielder of Mjolnir and takes on the mantle of the Mighty Thor. Meanwhile, Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) is dealing with the less than glamorous responsibilities that come with being the ruler of New Asgard. When a new threat emerges in the form of Gorr the God Butcher, Thor is forced out of retirement, enlisting the aid of Jane and Valkyrie to try and take him down.

Coming hot on the heels of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Love and Thunder will be the second Marvel Studios film to hit theaters in 2022. The fourth Thor movie will also be the sixth big-screen entry in Phase Four of the MCU, following Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness. Love and Thunder will itself be followed up by Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which is due for release on Nov. 11. On top of that, three more Marvel Studios movies are currently slated to bow in 2023: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Marvels.

Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder premieres in theaters on July 8.
