Thor: Love and Thunder is seemingly conducting another round of reshoots just months before the movie's release.

According to The Wrap, the fourth Thor film will be "going back for additional photography in the next few weeks." The report doesn't confirm which scenes are being redone or how much time has been allotted for the extra production. Considering the film's looming release date on July 8, it's possible that the reshoots in question aren't especially intensive. Marvel has yet to acknowledge any kind of extra filming for Thor: Love and Thunder.

The report lines up with comments made by Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi, who recently joked that the movie has yet to be completed. "It's still not finished," said Waititi. "It comes out in July, so probably the end of June [laughs]. Probably like a day before the premiere [laughs]. That's how we do it." Despite this, the filmmaker also discussed the similarities in making Love and Thunder and Thor: Ragnarok, the Asgardian hero's previous solo outing. "The energy and the intention is all still the same," with the only real difference being the inclusion of new cast members like Natalie Portman and Christian Bale.

Thor: Love and Thunder will see Chris Hemsworth reprise his role as one of the MCU's most powerful Avengers. Little is known about the movie's plot but Waititi has previously commented that it will be bigger and bolder than any of the hero's previous cinematic stories. "It's crazier. I’ll tell you what's different," said Waititi. "There'll be far more emotion in this film. And a lot more love. And a lot more thunder. And a lot more Thor, if you’ve seen the photos."

Alongside Hemsworth, Love and Thunder will see Portman reprise her role as Jane Foster, albeit a version of the character that's capable of going toe-to-toe with Thor himself. Tess Thompson will also return as King Valkyrie alongside the fan-favorite rock alien Korg. A variety of upcoming LEGO sets confirmed that Bale will be playing the sinister villain known as Gorr the God Butcher. How he specifically fits into the plot is currently unknown.

Thor: Love and Thunder crashes into theaters on July 8.
