Actor Kat Dennings, who portrayed Darcy Lewis in the first two Thor movies, is unsure if she'll appear in Thor: Love and Thunder, even though Darcy's character is in the Disney+ series WandaVision.

"No, still no idea!" Dennings said when asked if she'd reprise her role in the fourth Thor Film in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"I don’t think I'm in it," Dennings said. "I feel like I would have heard by now. So literally my answer is I have no idea, I have even less an idea than I did before."

In 2011's Thor and 2013's Thor: The Dark World, Dennings' role as Darcy served as an assistant to Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), an astrophysicist. However, neither character appeared in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok, and there was only a fleeting reference to Foster in 2019's Avengers: Endgame. About bringing Darcy back in WandaVisionDennings said, "I was thrilled and it was somewhat of a surprise what they planned for her."

Foster will portray The Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. In reply to that shift in Thor's universe, Dennings said, "I thought it was genius, the most genius thing I had ever heard. I think it's so brilliant. I mean, [Portman], you know, she's a rock star actor, she can do anything... As a fan, I'm just excited to watch it."
