Thor: Love and Thunder star Jaimie Alexander recently confirmed she'd want Lady Sif to team up Beta Ray Bill in the event the Asgardian warrior lands her own Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoff series.

Alexander pushed for a Sif/Beta Ray Bill show in a recent Instagram post, which features a series of images of the pair taken from different comics and animated adaptations. The post also includes a Photoshopped graphic of Alexander as Sif side-by-side with artwork of Beta Ray Bill, giving fans a sense of what this partnership might look like in live-action. In the accompanying caption, the actor asks fans to share their team-up suggestions, and enlists legendary Thor writer/artist (and Beta Ray Bill creator) Walt Simonson to weigh in on the debate.

Beta Ray Bill debuted in The Mighty Thor #337, published in 1983. He is an alien from the planet Korbin who shocked Thor (and readers) by proving worthy to lift the God of Thunder's enchanted hammer, Mjolnir. After besting Thor in one-on-one combat, Beta Ray Bill earns his own magical weapon, the battle ax Stormbreaker. He goes on to become one of the Odinson's most trusted allies, while also forming an especially close relationship with Sif, too. Veteran actor Keith David has previously expressed interest in voicing Beta Ray Bill, should the character ever make the jump to the MCU.

Sif Returns To The MCU (For Real This Time)

Alexander's campaign for a Sif spinoff series arrives hot on the heels of her latest MCU appearance, in Thor: Love and Thunder. This marked Sif's "official" return to the franchise for the first time since 2013's Thor: The Dark World. Alexander previously reprised the role in two TV shows released after The Dark World, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Loki, however, the former's canonical status is currently unclear and the latter only featured a simulated version of Sif, not the Asgardian warrior herself.

The star has made it clear that she has no intention of exiting the MCU anytime soon, either, declaring on Instagram that "The lady has returned... and she is here to stay" following the release of Loki. Marvel Studios is yet to publicly comment on Alexander's future with the franchise post-Thor: Love and Thunder, which could explain her recent efforts to drum up fan interest in a Sif-focused spinoff series.

Should Alexander's dreams come true and Sif show materialize, it would likely require the actor to go through months of extensive workouts before cameras roll. This would mark a stark contrast to her experience on Thor: Love and Thunder, which she recently revealed didn't involve any physical training at all.
