After the five-year time jump in Avengers: Endgame, some of Earth's Mightiest Heroes had gone through some drastic changes. Chief among them was Thor, who no longer was the ripped God of Thunder. Consumed by guilt and anger, the Asgardian had gained weight, and he became referred to by fans as Lebowski Thor.

Now, as Thor heads off into his next adventure in Thor: Love and Thunder, many wonder if the film will still feature Lebowski Thor or if the character will loose some weight. According to director Taika Waititi, no decisions have been made yet.

"This is an ongoing debate that we're still having at Marvel," Waititi told Yahoo. "Cause we're trying to figure out how long -- how many months or years -- this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place? I think we always want to keep changing it up with Thor. He's so interesting when he's changing all the time."

Of course, "change" can apply in both cases. If the God of Thunder remains Bro Thor in Love and Thunder, it will be different than all his previous solo films. Then again, if he loses weight, it will be a departure from the last we saw of him in Endgame.
