Thor Invades France

As Marvel Entertainment's upcoming Thor feature film draws ever closer, more and more marketing elements begin to rain down upon the Interwebs. Today, Superhero Hype highlighted the French poster to the upcoming film via Clone Web and Fantasy.

The poster itself doesn't really reveal much, honestly, opting for a very pensive or "about to smack someone with my hammer" looking Thor in armor, gripping the mighty Mjolnir. Unfortunately, the top part of the God of Thunder's head got chopped off in the image, so for those waiting to finally see Thor in his winged helmet, no such luck.

The Kenneth Branagh-directed film strikes theaters this April 23, surely no coincidence considering that whole "April showers" thing you hear as a kid. Chris Hemsworth is the worthy actor picking up Mjolnir in the film, with Natalie Portman as human love-interest Jane Foster and Tom Hiddleston as Thor's trickster brother Loki. Countless others also round out the cast, including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaime Alexander, Ray Stevenson and Kat Dennings.

Check out the trailer to the upcoming film below and head to theaters this Spring for a verily good time.
