1 He Helped Tom Holland Get The Spider-Man Role

Thor and Spider-Man never met in the MCU but their actors, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland, worked together before that. They played starring roles in the 2015 film In the Heart of the Sea.

They got along well and when the time came to choose who would play Spider-Man in the MCU, Chris Hemsworth offered his opinion and said Tom Holland should do it, praising the young actor in the process.
