The storm is brewing for Marvel Studios next big screen superhero picture as today, the first on set footage from "Thor" went live as part of "Entertainment Tonight's" set visit report.

Focusing on interviews, the set visit features lead stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman as well as director Kenneth Branagh, and while the chats may be slight on story specifics, the in between footage contains a wealth of information.

The footage reveals the American southwest setting of the picture first teased at the end of "Iron Man 2" as well as a chamber that may very well be a piece of the movie's Asgard set. Perhaps of more interest, the video includes glimpses of the characters in action including Hemsworth in action as Thor, Sir Anthony Hopkins as the one-eyed Odin and at least one more glimpse at a member of the Norse pantheon.

Check out the entire video below and for more on "Thor," keep an eye out on CBR as well as Spinoff Online.

"Thor" opens in theaters May 6, 2011.
