Don't Worry, Thor's Ex-Roommate Darryl Survived Thanos' Finger Snap

The good news is that Thor's ex-roommate Darryl Jacobson survived the finger snap by Thanos that wiped out half of all life in the universe. The bad news is that because many of his co-workers didn't, he's had to put in extra time at the office, leading him to miss the thunder god's birthday.

He remedies that, however, in a video in which he delivers a belated birthday greeting, "however many thousands of years you are," and slips in a request for some cash. "I hope you're having a good time out there in the universe," he says, "and if there happens to be wifi where you are ... if you could just do a quick transfer. I'm in quite a bit of debt since you left."

Darryl returned the following year in Team Thor: Part 2, in which he sought help with rent, only for the Avenger to contribute a pumpkin, a few trinkets and a handful of Asgardian coins. Darryl subsequently found a new roommate in The Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), who apparently didn't offer any more help with money than the previous one did.
