Thor has undergone a few major changes recently, from becoming the King of a restored Asgard to the newest herald to the world eater, Galactus. For longtime readers of the God of Thunder, one change that was very common was the transformation that took place between Thor and his human host, Donald Blake. CBR can exclusively reveal the cover and solicitation for Thor #9, which reintroduces Donald Blake into the Thor mythos.

Writer Donny Cates and artist Nic Klein will look to tackle an unsolved mystery from Thor and Donald Blake's past. The cover by Olivier Coipel features Thor holding Mjolnir as Donald Blake appears before him while also grasping his trusty cane. When Blake would crack this wooden cane on the ground, he would transform into the Mighty Thor.
