Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi teased the latest installment in the Marvel Studios franchise will be much different than Ragnarok.

"It's crazier. I’ll tell you what's different," Waititi told Empire magazine. "There'll be far more emotion in this film. And a lot more love. And a lot more thunder. And a lot more Thor, if you’ve seen the photos."

The director's comments come shortly after Jaimie Alexander, who portrays Lady Sif in Love and Thunder, teased her return to the franchise, writing, "The lady has returned... and she is here to stay" on Instagram.

Alexander's co-star Karen Gillan, who will reprise her role as Nebula, also recently shared that fans will see a more "bonkers side" of her character in Love and Thunder. "I don't know if it’s personal [levity]. Like I don’t think she's finding herself funny or being funny, but in her seriousness, I think we will find her funny, and just the pure aggression that we’ve tapped into."
