Thor sacrificed his home to Surtur in Thor: Ragnorak as a way of defeating his sister Hela. However, Asgard follows the Asgardians, and the city may make a return in Thor: Love and Thunder.Film sets are being created throughout Sydney, Australia, where the fourth Thor film is being filmed, and one of these unfinished sets -- shared by The Daily Mail -- looks eerily familiar to the Asgardian home that was once destroyed.RELATED: RUMOR: Thor: Love and Thunder Adds a Major AvengerThor: Love and Thunder started filming in Australia after Marvel Studios received a $24.1 million location incentive grant from the Australian government. It is being shot at Sydney's Fox Studios, but set structures have been spotted at a nearby area called Centennial Park. The set includes two structures: a theater with a stage similar to the one Loki used to reenact his death scene in Ragnarok and a circular structure that resembles Heimdall's Observatory or the landing spot of the Bifrost bridge. It's unclear whether the set will be used to portray a restored version of Asgard or a flashback of the real place. However, since the start of filming Love and Thunder, actor Chris Hemsworth has been flying to Sydney with Matt Damon, who played Loki on Asgard's stage in Ragnarok. It's also worth noting that additional set photos feature Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston seemingly donning the same attire they wore during Odin's death scene from the franchise's previous entry.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillen as Nebula and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher. The film arrives in theaters May 6, 2022.
