The following contains spoilers for Thor: Love and Thunder, now playing in theaters.

One of the most intriguing aspects about Taika Waititi taking over the Thor series is how he loves slipping in fun cameos. He started the trend in Thor: Ragnarok, including the likes of Matt Damon as an actor playing Loki in an Asgardian play. Sam Neill and Rima Te Wiata, who worked with Waititi on Hunt for the Wilderpeople, were included as well, confirming he was up for using members of his creative family. Well, Thor: Love and Thunder evolved the gag with an even more personal note. That's because the entire Hemsworth litter had key roles in the flick, so let's dissect what they were.

Chris Hemsworth Reprised His Role as Thor

Thor Love and Thunder Lightning Bolt

Well, this one isn't much of a surprise, with Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor. Waititi's direction evolved the character after the first two films made him a bit too bleak with their Shakespearean takes. In this case, Hemsworth once more showed how good he was melding comedy and action as his Thor partnered with Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster (The Mighty Thor) to recover kids Gorr kidnapped from Asgard. They also had to prevent the God Butcher from wishing all the gods away after his daughter died.

Elsa Pataky Howled Out as Wolf Woman

Mayen Mehta and Elsa Pataky in Interceptor

Pataky, a Spanish model, married Hemsworth in 2010 and has starred in the Fast & Furious franchise and, more recently, Netflix's Interceptor. She was also a stand-in for Portman in Thor: The Dark World's post-credits and even played a nurse on Sakaar in Ragnarok. In Thor: Love and Thunder, she's spotted early on when Korg narrated Thor's past romances. She's a wolf woman who's seen kissing Thor on the back of a large wolf with the moon in the background.

Luke Hemsworth Is a Thespian Thor

Thor Ragnarok Luke Hemsworth

Luke Hemsworth (who's more known for playing Stubbs on Westworld) reprised his role as Matt Damon's acting buddy, donning the mantle of Thor. Ragnarok had him holding Fake Loki in The Dark World's death scene, while this sequel has Fake Thor crying once more as Sam Neill's Odin dies. He then runs into trouble, with Melissa McCarthy's Hela breaking his hammer in another hilarious in-world recreation of Thor's past.

Tristan Hemsworth Kicks Butt as Kid Thor

Tristan Hemsworth plays Kid Thor in Love and Thunder

Earlier in Korg's narration, when he mentioned Thor's coming-of-age story, there was an epic sequence of him running through the woods. As he grew, he changed suits from the comic-inspired outfit to the Marvel Cinematic Universe armor fans know today. Tristan, Chris Hemsworth's eight-year-old son, was actually the kid that kicked off the montage, racing through the forest toward his destiny.

Sasha Hemsworth Is an Asgardian Kid

Thor responding to New Asgard under attack in Thor: Love and Thunder

Sasha, Tristian's twin, played one of the kids Gorr stole from New Asgard, using shadow monsters at night. It was all so Gorr could leverage them to get Stormbreaker, as he needed the ax to get into Eternity's wishing well. Sasha's spotted with the bunch as Gorr later tortures them with a horrific story. Portman's kids (Amalia and Aleph Millepied) and Waititi's (Matewa Kiritapu and Te Kainga O'Te Hinekahu) were also among the abducted, who ended up sharing Thor's powers to fight the monsters in the end.

India Rose Hemsworth Is Gorr's Daughter

Thor: Love and Thunder Gives the MCU's Next Superteam an Ace in the Hole

The biggest surprise was Gorr's daughter was played by Chris Hemsworth's ten-year-old daughter, India Rose, who was initially tough to spot in her sickly form. After a dying Gorr opts to wish her back to life, and Thor adopts her, she's more visible as she and Hemsworth shared a playful sequence. Their chemistry was spot-on as they bicker about pancakes, boots and her role moving forward as a superhero. She even shot laser beams out her eyes to remind Dad-Thor she has a lot of power. They ended the film in battle, saving innocent aliens from tyrants, leaving fans eager to see more of them as father and daughter.
