While Marvel's Thor 2 apparently doesn't have a script, it does have a Nov. 15, 2013, release date and, as of two weeks ago, a director -- Alan Taylor of Game of Thrones fame, who was brought in after the studio showed Patty Jenkins the door. And now, thanks to Tom Hiddleston, we learn the sequel also has a somewhat-vague start date.

"And all I know about Thor 2 is that we're supposed to film it in London in the summer and that it is being directed by Alan Taylor," the actor revealed in a web chat with Empire.

Pressed for details about what the movie might hold for his character Loki, Hiddleston said, "I don't want to spoil anything here. Loki's eternal predilection is to dance on the fault lines of villainy and redemption. I think whatever happens to him, he'll always keep people guessing."

With Taylor in place, Marvel reportedly is moving swiftly to find a new writer to take another pass at the script by Don Payne (Thor, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer). The shortlist is believed to include John Collee (Happy Feet, Master and Commander: Far Side of the World), Robert Rodat (Falling Skies, Saving Private Ryan) and Roger Avary (Pulp Fiction, Beowulf).

Hiddleston, who reprises his role as Loki in The Avengers, will be joined in Thor 2 by stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.
