WARNING: The following contains spoilers for NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

NXT superstar Johnny Gargano is known for using his ring gear to pay tribute to various comic book characters, including Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Wolverine and Carnage, among others. However, at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, Johnny Wrestling mixed things up a bit, sporting entrance attire inspired by The Mandalorian.

For his match against defending NXT North American Champion Keith Lee, Gargano walked to the ring with armor strapped on top of his jacket. The armor is clearly designed to resemble that of Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin -- as well as the other Mandalorian warriors hailing from the Star Wars universe -- complete with a chest plate, shoulder plates, wrist plates and even a cape.

Gargano was ultimately unsuccessful in his bid to reclaim the NXT North American Champion, with Lee defeating The Whole Shebang by pinfall after a 20-minute encounter -- which included the defending champ body checking Gargano through one of the Plexiglas barriers at ringside (maybe he should have kept his armor on).

In addition to being the 29th event under the NXT TakeOver banner, this show also marks the 25th anniversary of WWE's first In Your House pay-per-view in 1995. NXT TakeOver: In Your House is the first event to carry the In Your House branding since St. Valentine's Day Massacre: In Your House in 1999. It is also the first TakeOver to take place at NXT's home base of Full Sail University since 2016's NXT TakeOver: The End.
