The beautifully delicate work of Marina Adamova will either get you in the mood for Christmas or for another reading of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Or, maybe both.

The Russian artist has created scenes from the novel from cut, layered paper, and placed them inside 10-centimeter plastic balls, producing ethereal one-of-a-kind ornaments. These were designed for an exhibition of the Paper Art Collective, held next month in Oslo, Norway.

You can see the entire collection at Behance, where Adamova also offers a glimpse into her process.
