The Jim Henson Co. is reportedly developing a sequel to Labyrinth, the 1986 musical fantasy that starred David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King.

Unfortunately, that's all the information offered in this Variety article that's actually about Billy Crystal joining the company's animated movie Which Witch. There's also mentions the Fraggle Rock movie, and seemingly confirms plans for a Dark Crystal sequel.

Directed by Jim Henson, Labyrinth follows 15-year-old Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) in her effort to reach the center of an enormous otherworldly maze to rescue her infant brother from the Goblin King.

Although the film was a commercial failure -- it grossed slightly more than half of its $25 million budget -- and received mixed reviews, it's developed a cult following over the years.
