In the theatrical release of "X-Men: Days of Future Past," the future X-Men had to overcome overwhelming odds in order for Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) to send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) into the past, so that he could warn a young Professor X (James MacAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) about the dire consequences of the Sentinel Program. In the upcoming Rogue Cut of that film, Rogue (Anna Paquin) takes over for Kitty due to a grievous injury, and a new scene from that extended cut has just been released.
This latest clip seems to take place after Wolverine's episode, where he awoke briefly and inadvertently stabbed Kitty in his confusion. Now, as Kitty bleeds out, Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), an older Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) confer with each other to see what other options they have left, as Kitty may not be able to hold on for much longer -- and that's when Iceman hatches the plan to bring in Rogue.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past - The Rogue Cut" will be released on Blu-ray on July 14.
