In this feature, I examine comic book fights that were particularly notable in the wrong side winning (or at least that the fight wasn't won the "right" way). This really isn't a big deal, of course, as it doesn't really matter if the "wrong" person won a fight. But it's fun to talk about!

If you want to suggest a fight for future inclusion in this feature, drop me a line at bcronin@comicbookresources.com. Don't suggest a fight in the comments!

This week, oddly enough, we feature the fight that I got the most suggestions for. It's honestly not one that would normally occur to me, but hey, if enough of you want to see it, I'll feature it! So here is Catwoman's whipping of Prometheus...

As always, the first page spotlights their power levels and the second page examines the fight itself.

Also, as always, how did they do against Spider-Man?

Catwoman, sadly enough, never fought Spider-Man.

Heck, she only has one fight against a Marvel character period, an ass-kicking she suffered from Elektra in DC vs. Marvel...

Spider-Man has never actually fought Elektra, either. Isn't that kind of crazy? She does seem to scare Spider-Man for whatever reason.

Make of that what you will!

Catwoman's biggest draw, feat-wise, is how fast she is. Watch her dodge a bullet here...

But she can fight, as well. Here she is beating up Wildcat, who is an excellent fighter...

Prometheus, though, the dude took out the whole JLA! Here he is in JLA #16...

So Prometheus was doing really, really well...

Until he ran into Catwoman!

Later in JLA #17, Prometheus is pushing Superman to kill himself...

Here's the thing, yes, it is silly that Catwoman just kracks him in the nuts like it is nothing. However, note that Prometheus then basically shoots her...

I think this brings more into question how good the overall fight was. Prometheus just FORGOT about Huntress? On the end of the page, Steel shows up, too, so it is not that Prometheus is all THAT amazing. And as I've pointed out before, Prometheus then became a bum for years until his incompetence was written off.

But yes, it is weird that Catwoman was even THERE (she got past the security by just putting on a latex Cat Grant mask? Seems like that would not work that well) and Prometheus, who just kicked Batman's ass and confidently dealt with guys like Green Lantern and Flash, shouldn't let Catwoman even get off the shot to his crotch, so I definitely understand why so many people wrote it about this one, even if I think it's not all that bad, so I figured I'd feature it for y'all!

Okay, that's it for this week! Thanks for the suggestion, people who suggested it! Everyone else, feel free to send in suggestions for future installments to bcronin@comicbookresources.com!
