NBC, which already airs Grimm and Dracula on Fridays, wants to add another monster to its lineup.

Deadline reports that Dracula producer Daniel Knauf is developing The Wolfman, which spins off from the 2010 film of the same name that starred Benicio del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. The series will follow del Toro's character Lawrence Talbot, who does his best to deal with his new alter ego. The project is set for 13 episodes.

The Wolfman's origins date back to 1941, when Universal Pictures unveiled The Wolf Man. Unlike many of the Universal Monsters of the day, Wolfy didn't get his own solo sequels, but did appear in pictures like Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula and even Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.
