The Kickstarted-funded project reimagines the Continent and explores what it would be like if Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy world had drawn inspiration from Japanese mythology and folklore instead of western mythology and fairytales. The main arc of The Witcher: Ronin contains 4 chapters totalling 100 full-color pages. Additionally, the dedicated created team has also written three short stories spanning roughly 15 pages each.

Alongside Geralt of Rivia, CD Projekt Red promises appearances from a reimagined Vesemir, as well as Yennefer of Vengerberg. For the project's backers, The Witcher: Ronin will also arrive with a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the manga, as well as insight into which Japanese myths and folktales inspired the fantasy world.
