CD Projekt Red and mobile game developer Spokko are bringing the monster-hunting experience from the Continent to The Witcher fans all over with The Witcher: Monster Slayer, which, after months of relative silence, now has a release date.Spokko released a new teaser for the game, unveiling The Witcher: Monster Slayer's release date of July 21. "Prepare your phones for the worldwide premiere of The Witcher: Monster Slayer — coming to iOS and Android for free on July 21st!" The Witcher: Monster Slayer was announced in late 2020, promising an augmented-reality experience that would immerse players in the world of The Witcher. Spokko, a subsidiary of CD Projekt Red, released the game for testing in Russia in November. Since then, there has been little news regarding the status of the game.

CD Projekt Red is set to release further details about its current or upcoming video game projects at WitcherCon, which the Polish developer is hosting with Netflix. It is expected that The Witcher: Monster Slayer will be one of the projects discussed, alongside Gwent.

WitcherCon will be available on both Twitch and YouTube. Is set to air on July 9 at 7:00 PM CEST. Fans will be able to watch WitcherCon across two separate streams, with each one containing exclusive content. On July 10, fans can tune into a second stream, also on Twitch and YouTube, which will begin at 03:00 AM CEST.
