Netflix's The Witcher is a hit with audiences everywhere, meaning millions of newcomers to the franchise are now exploring Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, CD Projekt Red's video game trilogy and anything else they can get their hands on that might help them understand this fascinating new fantasy world.

Getting through eight novels and three whole games, plus DLC, before the release of Season 2 of the Netflix series might seem like it would require a bit of a commitment, which is why one dedicated fan, Maria Kluziak, has created an online calculator to help fans estimate how much time they will need to get the full Witcher experience.

Curious fans can simply enter the rate at which they read, the length of each reading or gaming session, what they want to focus on in their reading, how they intend to play the games, if at all, and even the order in which they intend to get through all of it, since the story isn't always told chronologically.

Most estimates provided by the calculator show that (assuming one started their dive into The Continent right away, which many have already done) it's possible to complete the novels and the video games in time for Season 2 of the Netflix adaptation, which will reportedly begin production very soon.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as Jaskier. Season 1 is now available on Netflix. Season 2 is currently in development.
